How I Play Video Games

Category: PS2, xbox 360

Whenever I play some video games, particularly RPGs, I always feel too eager to end the game. That is why when I’m playing GTA3 in my PS2, I always use cheat codes. During walk-through in missions, I always cheat for health and armor. Then when things get messy beating a mission, then its time to charge up the cavalry and enter the Tank. hehe.

Now that our xbox 360 finally checked-out in the hospital from the 3rl problem, we’re starting to play the Devil May Cry 4. Some pretty sleek graphics this game has. Since we just played it yesterday, I still don’t have much to say about this game. But if we’re having some trouble beating a mission, then its time to go to the web and look for some game cheats. There are now thousands of new games out there, including the Metal Gear Solid 4 and GTA 4. I expect that these games are tough to beat, so when I’ll get my hands on those PS3, then cheat codes are always there to support my gaming.

Some might say that Video Game Cheat Codes are for those who don’t want some fun in the game. I agree with this. But basing in my application, I just use this game cheats if I’m fed-up with the difficulty of the game. And also, walk-through when I’m kinda lost in the game. I don’t really cheat all through out the game. So in my opinion, cheating is just a way to help you beat the game. hehe

Burnout Legends

Category: PSP

Of all the racing games I’ve ever played, they all have the same purpose, to go as fast as you can and avoid those accidents and mistakes. But this game is a lot different.

Burnout Legends has an aim that is different from all the rest, get the most destruction as much as possible. Its really weird for me at first to try and race where bumping is allowed. Your enemies will try to hit and stop you from winning. So reckless driving is really an advantage. Another category of this game is to promote total annihilation. You’ll drive your car directly to traffic to create the biggest car accident in town. Hit those fuel tanker to get the most explosion as possible.

Now I’m beginning to get addicted with it. Its really a unique game and I’m loving every minute of playing this game.

God of War

Category: PSP

I am playing the God of War series on the Playstation 2 system since it was released a few years ago. The 1st installment was so great it kept me playing and decreased my sleeping hours. The 2nd was even greater as the gameplay is enhanced.

As with the Playstatioin Portable system, I never thought that the graphics of the whole game is almost at par with the Playstation 2 system. The experience playing God of War: Olympus on the PSP was really good that I was stuck with the whole game where ever I am – and that was good because I can bring the PSP anywhere I want.

I like the violence in the game as what most gamers do – I just wished that there will be a lot more enemies in every scene so that I can kill more enemies and observe the amazing combos Kratos do. If you have played the whole God of War series on PS2, you’ll find this game easy even on normal mode. Just get used with the controls of the PSP and you’ll be set to kill each enemy you’ll encounter. I enjoyed much of the mini games like doing a finishing move to an enemy.

I’m done with this game and I was surprised how quickly I finished the game. But there are still tons of side games when you finish normal mode. You can go over the game again at an increased difficulty or have fun on the “challenges” mode. This is what I am currently doing now and I am enjoying every minute of it.

Ridge Racer

Category: PSP

This game is more about drift, drift and drifting. I played this game in my PSP and I’m spending countless night playing this game even though I still have to work in the morning. I’m addicted to this game because I really loved drifting games. The screeching of tires and looking at those railings while your entering a corner sideways makes me scream like a little girl.

Playing at the tournament with this game makes you unlock different cars every stage. The aim is simple, chase 11 other slow moving cars and win first place. Though moving your car slightly left and right is difficult, but tap the brake then hit gas. See what happens. The car slides through the corner as it goes sideways like a lunatic. Then doing so will also fill your nitrous gauge which boost you to tremendous speed.

I definitely recommend this game for a purchase. Too many stages to beat and too many cars to unlock makes it exist like a mummy, for sure.

NFS Underground Rivals

Category: PSP

This game is way much better than NFS Most Wanted. Though it is most likely the same with NFS Underground-PS2 version, I’m am still getting addicted playing this game.

Like its previous predecessor, it still have that aura of unending game play. The experience of unlocking engine upgrades or performance and visual makes you want to crave for more. This is the game of my liking because your opponent are evenly matched with your earlier car. Once you have your upgrades, then intensity increases and races becomes more difficult.

I have finished the PS2 version of this game. I’m now hoping I can still do the same in my PSP. vro0m vr0om - loved to drift - screeeecchhhhh!!!

NFS Most Wanted - PSP

Category: PSP

I just bought this game for my PSP, Need for Speed - Most Wanted. This game is very difficult for crying out loud. I have beaten this game already in the XBOX 360 console. So I really know the flow of difficulty of this game. In my experience in the 360, the earlier the game, the easier the challenges. But in this console, it is quite the opposite.

A single stage, and I am already having trouble ending a time challenge. The cops are now very tough that it keeps on hitting you even though your just a plain old stock car. The cops are faster than you so you can’t out run them. If I want not to get caught and manage to cruise the lap, then the time limit will expire thus, failing the mission.

I don’t really know what to do right now. I’m stuck with this junk stock car and I don’t even have enough upgrades to help me with the mission. This version for me is the worst ever. I recommend not to buy this game, or if you want to endure the pain I have playing this game, then, just have it for a rent.

Spiderman 3 - PSP

Category: PSP

Spidey is back! And now, he’s in my PSP. I haven’t quite played this game yet. But as far from where I am at the game, I’m liking it very much. There’s a lot of side missions that can help you level up Spidey. Help the police battle out these Gangs scattering around. I’m not really far from the story yet so I’ll give you an update soon. Right now, I’m just busy swinging on the streets.

Need for Speed

Category: xbox 360

Need for Speed Underground. Need I say more? This game is more about speed, speed, style and speed.

In this series there are quite few game plays to mention. But let me just talk about this game, Most Wanted. I have played this game in my 360. So graphics are pretty much sick. I really don’t like this kind of game because it always gives me the heart beat of a lifetime. Especially in hot pursuit over the cops. But I still beat the game even though I don’t like it. hehe. I love all the racing: sprint, drag, time lap, and getting snap shots due to over speeding. What I really don’t like is increasing your rank in the blacklist. You have to hide from those cops once you got spotted on. My tips on how to do this is simply have the best car for the job. My choice would be the Lambo. Once I’ve had it, all upgrades just locked into that car. I liked that car because of its speed and mainly, on its handling. Once you’ve had this car, you don’t have to try to loose those cops on corners. All you have to do is go to the nearest highways, and from there, you can try to outrun those pesky cops. I have done this routine ending the game, so I hope this will help.

Final Fantasy

Category: PS2

This game is a must have if you have a Play Station. The series of Final Fantasy is best known for its unique game play, outstanding graphics, and magnificent stories.

We have started playing Final Fantasy since the release of its Part 8. That was a long time ago, and until now, I have been a fan. This game is all about battling your way until the end. You can encounter different monsters and enemies along the way. Doing so will increase you level, thus unlocking skills and increasing your character levels. Every series is unique in a way that level up is different from one another. That is why, every time I play a series, I always prioritize to level up rather than hastily ending the game. In this way, your character can be properly set that ending the game will be as easy as taking a lollipop from a baby.

What I really loved about this game is its side movies. The graphics are tremendous that it will take your breath away. The story line are also great that it seems to be like those in the Hollywood Movies.

Fight Night

Category: PS2

Do you want to fight the great Muhammad Ali but too scared that he might rocked you out with that shocking jabs. Do you want to give Joe Frazier that upper cut you so liked but afraid he might counter with that deadly hook. Do you want to go toe-to-toe with Roy Jones Jr. but frightened that he might dance you off with that killer upper cut. Well here is the answer to those problems. Introducing Fight Night.

During our first day playing this game, me and my brother really sucked at this. We don’t look at the controls before we play so its all pretty much dancing and a little jab here and there. Months after, we then felt the excitement of the game. Spending those countless night just playing this game. From night to dawn, we can’t stop playing the game until mom just woke up and scolds the two junkies. Then from months and months of practice, we can now hit combos from hay makers to hay makers. Hearing those shocking sound of blows just makes you don’t want to stop punching your opponent. Then when your opponent is about to get knocked down, you can certainly feel its place having that verge of knocked out. Then when you finally hit that killer blow, blood starts splashing even mouth piece starts flying as your opponent slowly crumbles down to the ground.

A true game for those boxing and gaming fan. This is for me, the most greatest boxing games ever.
